Pole projection

The distance that the pole is held away from the wall by the brackets. Specifically, it is the distance between the wall and the back edge of the pole nearest the wall. The default distance is 60mm (6cm). Bay Pole lengths will be calculated using this distance unless otherwise stated. The default 6cm projection will suit most applications. If you will be ceiling hanging the curtain pole, we will still need to know the distance the pole will be away from the wall in order to calculate pole length. Note that, if you intend to fix the brackets to battens, the overall length of the pole projection will be increased by the thickness of the batten.

You may require a longer projection if:

You may require a shorter projection if:

Please be aware that if you are fixing the brackets to battens this will increase the pole projection

Pole hanging depth

This measurement is required for ceiling fixed curtain poles only. It is the distance between the ceiling and the top edge of the pole nearest the ceiling. You will need to determine the hanging depth of your pole by measuring the distance between the top edge of the window and the ceiling. The default hanging depth is 60mm if no preference is indicated.
