Due to the nature of the materials and the hand-made manufacture, some differences in finish and colour may occur. Due to the nature of images displayed on video screens, the finishes and colours depicted in the website may appear different to the final product.

All sizes are approximate. If more precise dimensions are required, this must be stated at time of order.

We retain the right to alter prices and specification of all our products without prior notification. The prices listed on this web site supersede all earlier price lists.

We cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery due to third parties. Delivery times are only an estimation, but we will strive to deliver all goods as quickly as possible.

Full remittance is required before any goods are dispatched, unless otherwise stated. All cheques will be cleared prior to dispatch of goods. Credit card payments will be processed when goods are ready for dispatch.

Online credit card orders are handled through a secure server and all credit card information is 128 bit encrypted when sent over the network. Credit card orders can only be made by the holder of the card and at our discretion may only be sent to the address of the card holder. We may carry out checks on the authenticity of the card user. Please do not send credit card details by unsecured email.

We will refund the value of the returned item and the original delivery charges, providing the goods are in original condition. You must inform us within 7 days of receipt that you wish to return goods. Goods must be returned to us in there original condition. Please note that the parcel and its contents are your responsibility until they reach us. We therefore recommend that you send them by registered post, retaining proof of postage. Goods are returned at your expense. This does not affect your statutory rights. Custom made items, such as Bay Window Curtain Poles, are not refundable or exchangeable unless they are faulty or damaged in transit.

Any refund will be credited to the credit or debit card used to make the purchase. Refunds will be paid by cheque only if the original payment was made by cheque.

You have a 7 working day cooling off period before delivery if you have ordered a custom made product that you no longer require. If you cancel an order after this time you may still be liable for the full cost (at our discretion). Your statutory rights are not affected. Non custom made items, such as Curtain Pole Packs, can be cancelled at any time before delivery.

Any contact or personal information we gather in the course of our dealings with customers is not sold or passed on to any third party. We may use contact information to inform customers of new products and offers. If you wish to have your details removed from our database please contact us directly.

The information we collect from our customers is used for the purpose of carrying out the order transaction in hand. We may collect customers' addresses and credit/debit card details so that orders can be processed. This info will not be passed on to third parties. This website uses cookies to temporarily store information that the user submits into forms in order to make order processing a simpler task. You can disable the cookie function in your browser to block their use, however, this will affect the functionality of the website and will stop you from being able to buy directly online.

It is the responsibility of the customer to take accurate measurements for Bay Poles. If you do not feel capable of doing this please get help or employ a qualified trades person.

The fitting of all curtain poles is the pole is the responsibility of the customer. You will need to employ a suitably qualified installer at your expense if you cannot undertake this work.

It is the responsibility of the customer to check the suitability of the pole for their desired curtains. It is preferable to install the pole before purchasing or having curtains made if at all possible.

Northdowns Ironcraft will produce the Bay Window Curtain Pole to fit as accurately as possible the measurements and specifications as shown in the pole diagram and itemised quotation agreed in the order. If, after meeting these requirements, the pole does not fit the bay or is otherwise deemed unsuitable, it is not the obligation of Northdowns Ironcaft to provide replacements or alternatives or otherwise rectify any problems unless they are the result of our own error. We will always endeavour to help with any problems encountered but will only provide this help as a courtesy which will be at our discretion. Please note that fitting problems are very rare and there is usually tolerance in the pole and with the adjustable brackets that allow for measuring discrepancies. It is usual that most inaccuracies are discovered at the diagram stage.
